Cyprus invasion.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Bakala, I remember my old man using the term "you have the stubbornness of a Greek" whenever I was too argumentative with him. Now I know what he meant.

I don't mind a debate or even an argument with these guys but bloody hell talk about being repetitive.

No, its not OK with me to steal our land. Those that steal our land and therefore declare war on us can not expect peace.

Piratis

i absolutely do not support ethnic cleansing of any kind, however if i remeber right the first time since 1960 that ethnic cleansing started on the island was when the greeks imported it as the new " final solution" to the Turkish Cypriot problem,

but constantly complaining about the turkish landings and ignoring the reasons for those 1974 landings is like Adolf Hitler saying the allied landings in Normandy were wrong.

I do not dispute that wrongs were commited after th landings by the Turks but thats why the whole world will explore every avenu of diplomacy before commiting to conflict, Because once a state of war exists the rule book goes out the window, soldiers run out of control once the blood lust is up
so lets hope there is never another one eh ?

Ok, lets change the "record". Lets start asking for fascism, human rights violations, illegalities etc, for a change, right? But if I do that then I will be playing your record...

Your land was not stolen, it was exchanged.

No ethnic cleansing was perfomed on TCs ever. In fact even today TCs own their properties in the whole Cyprus that wait for them until a solution is found. So stop lying.

Adolf Hitler was the foreign invader of France, just like Turkey is today the foreign invader of Cyprus. You got all mixed up old man.

Lets hope that the war that Turkey started in 1974 will end and the foreign occupation of Cyprus will end.
After this war will end lets hope there will be not another one.

 To make an exchange both sides should agree. GCs never agreed on any "exchange". It was a clear land grab by Turkey who forced our refugees out of their homes at gun point.

Even if they wanted to agree for an "exchange" they would not be able to since TCs grabbed twice as much as they left behind and there is not enough land for such "exchange".

Please tell us how Turkey started the war. Were the generals playing back-gammon and thought "this is boring, lets do something more exciting, lets invade Cyprus". Is this how it happened? or is there something you'd like to tell me.

Turkey started the war by invading the sovereign Republic of Cyprus and illegally occupying part of it.

Or what you mean is that Russia or Greece should have the right to invade and occupy Turkey whenever a coup happened there (and it happened numerous times).

So It was boredom then. Well my friend we have a saying in such cases, " oyle gote oyle yar**k".

Your attitude stinks.

Mrfromng

it seems the pills have worn off him, you are wasting your time mate
its quite obvious that the Turks invaded just to fuck everyone up and for no other reason, perhaps that fits the greek opinion of the Evil Turk Syndrome.

One thing is certain there is no future for a settlement with extremists stirring the pot all the time.

Any time for a pint before closing time
CYall tomorrow

goodnight and god bless all moderates ( specialy the ones who tell all the truth )
