Planning on visiting Cyprus end of May early June, anyone know what sort of temperatures. Planning on doing some diving and would also appreciate advice on what thickness of wetsuit to bring.

Hi Titan is it your first visit then? weather in May and June is hot last year around 30 degrees, as for wetsuits cant help you there dont dive (well not in the sea anyway!!!!)

The sea should be really warming up then.

I wear a 4mm full suit (with hood) all the year round – even when the sea is 28°C – I really feel the cold!

What level of diver are you?

Thanks for your replies and to answer both of you -

I used to live in Cyprus but as time has passed can't remember what time of year weather changes. Too long now living in the cold wet UK and can't remember what sun is.

I am a PADI open water diver but have logged over 100 dives and used to dive the Zenobia frequently. I think I may be a bit more tolerant of the cold now having moved back to the UK, I used to wear a short sleeve 3mm full suit, so am thinking maybee a 3mm shorty.
