To pet owners and animal lovers.
Please be aware that in Cyprus a controlled (elswhere)chemical called lannate is freely available to anyone who cares to purchase it. it is extemely poisonus to animals and usually fatal.
In eastern Cyprus some of our less than caring fellow islanders use it as a wedkiller etc but leave it around in large amounts in open spaces..but other people of a lesser mentality lace meat with it and just leave it around for any animal to eat or ingest, so much easier to get rid of unwanted cats and dogs and sometimes other peoples pets as well!!
So most dog owners usually take their dogs out on a lead and usually fit a muzzle as well to stop their animals becoming victims to these mentally impaired morons...
