They owe staff and former staff wages (some as much as 6 months), they lost the system designers because of this problem, they run on Co-Ax cable, meaning they have to keep boosting the signal with amplifiers and taps, where I know for a fact that alot of them haven't been done correctly, they have a maximum of 3 people working in Limassol (the rest left because of no pay), they have no team in Larnaca (staff left because of no pay), they broke the law in having unlicensed guys climbing the poles (you have to be 21 to have be allowed to have a test to get your licence with the EAC, they had alot of 17, 18 and 19 year olds), they use fibreoptic cable, but thats purely for joining nodes together. Fibre optic cable is very sensitive, its like glass particles on the inside of it, so you have to be delicate. I have seen it in several places ready to snap on the inside, if it hasn't already.
