So all these TC's that were killed were victims of bi-communal fighting, eh?
So what was the exact purpose of Ethniki Organosis Kyprion Agoniston, perhaps they were some sort of amateaur welfare group organizing jumble sales, cake baking competitions and leaflet campaigns to promote the peaceful union of Cyprus with Greece. (Oh yes children, and in 1974 Greece was a friendly little country full of happy people who couldn't pronounce the letter "Z" , run by jolly ex-army colonels with a keen interest in gardening and cricket).
Or were Ethniki Organosis Kyprion Agoniston a murderous bunch of ultra nationalistic thugs who saw that the TCs were a problem that needed sorting, i.e. eliminating, so that this planned union with Greece could go ahead and to this end, started to organise the slaughter of whole villages across the south of Cyprus in a well planned and methodical way. And any Greek Cypriot who objected to the slaughter of his Turkish neighbours, got a bullet for his troubles as well.
Whew! This is a difficult question, I'm going to have to have a lie down and think about this one!

EOKA was a militia group fighting for the freedom and independence of Cyprus from the Brittish Collonial rule(1950s). What you are reffering to is EOKA B as it is called officially a terrorist group fighting together with the Greek military Junta for annexing Cyprus to Greece.
Well Greeks in Greece faught against the Junta, people actually died to restore democracy. Most of them generals died in jail and the rest are dying there. In response the rank of General is not given to ANY greek officer unless in time of war. They were all accused and treated as National Traitors...
Modern day Greece and Cyprus are Democratic independent states both members of the EU. Enosis is history, there is no reason anymoe for that. EOKA B is history as well most of them are dead, or dying somewhere lonely.
Now tell me, what have YOU changed since then?
