Bigfatlondonboy, the turks occupy my village for 32years, it was a 100% greek cypriot village, so why wont your turkish army pals let me and my familly return to our homes ?
You think i should sit back and not complain about scumbags from britain who are buying cheap homes built on land that is stolen from greek cypriots ?

First of all there was no kurdish problem until the terrorist organization pkk which was supported by greeks syrians etc. to divide the unity of turkey. how can you explain me the terrorist leader of pkk abdullah ocalans posters on the streets of south cyprus and the cyprus passport that he had when he was caught, is he cypriot?

Second thing is that there was no problems with the armenian people until the big imperial powers (mainly french) decided to finish off the ottoman empire. they planted the nationalsit bobmbs within the armenian people to revolt the armenians within the ottoman empire. just like they did with the other nations within the ottoman empire

There is as much chance of retired2cyprus telling you where he lives, as there is of Scotland having a heatwave this summer ( i.e. none! ).

The people who have 'bought' stolen land in the North will eventually learn the error of their ways -- as the saying goes, ' every dog has his day ' .

There will always be people all around the world who see the opportunity to get something for nothing, or make a fast buck, whether it is through slavery, tobacco smuggling, DVD Piracy, whatever; but it is the duty of the rest of us to keep fighting for what is right and just.

The purchase of land in the North is immoral and unjust, but this will not stop people hoping to make a quick killing. It's just very sad that this is being done in a place that has more than its fair share of killings !!

My feelings do go out to lysi the pain and frustration is self evident but I must correct one point I am not in charge of any one or any organisation... I will leave the land issues for now.
