I read that as far as genetics are concerned Cyprıots are closer to each other (Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots) than they are to Turkish or Greek peoples. seems like the main differences are in the way they are brought up?

Probably religion and language are the main differences. I saw some Turkish Cypriots in the hospital and you can not tell that they are not Greek Cypriots until they speak.

It is so heart-warming, Turkish Cypriots using a Greek Cypriot hospital. I wonder when they last paid their taxes?
While you’re at the hospital, have your eyes tested. I have never seen a Turk or Turkish Cypriot that looked remotely Greek.
I think what we are looking at here is at Cypriots and the difference between Turkish and Greek speaking CYPRIOTS - are you not a Cypriot then Michael?

I think there are only cultural differences between the two, and maybe some physical differences, but they are both alike. I like the Turk Cyps, lovely people.
