Hi all ..

Although i have been living in Limassol for years now .. i have lost touch of good places to go to mingle and have a laugh.

Which places are good for a single guy to go to ?- preferably where ex-pats are as i prefer the atmosphere to just Cypriot bars.

Ooohh difficult question.... haven't seen too much stranger mingling. Ex-pat wise maybe - off the top of my head - Step Inn (tourist area)? Nags Head (opposite Castle Apts, Atlantica side, near Maccy Ds)?

Random ppl don't seem to meet too much in Limassol ... or is that just me? Unless you're a girl then you'll have about 2 zillion guys hittin on u on every corner....

I know what you mean about the 2 zillion guys ... i am one of them but the only differance is i am the shy type who leaves all the other guys to hit on the girls ....

Obviously too many guys out there !!!

Maybe the best bet is get a job as a barman ?

Tough competition.... though they very rarely seem succesful. I must say some of the tactics the groups use seem somewhat questionable (demented). There's 2 zillion guys doin it on every corner, but they don't seem to be all too Don-Juany...

The barman thing definetely works though..... been there, done that Give it a go in tourist area... I dunno bout the more locally oriented bars, don't go there much

I worked in a bar for a while the when i first came over ( remember Kigston Town when it was only Reggae music !!!) That was good fun !!

I have been working in IT since which is ok but not as fun as bar work

Will have to give it a go again, as i may make more money in the bar than being stuck in an office

First I'll pack by suitcase for the trip on Sunday... drive to Limassol, find tickets etc... finish packing and...... head to Gypsies probably....
