How can you call the British crooks, they never stole anything. A crook is someone who has commited theft. What have the British stole?

Are your assumptions about British or about British buyers in the North? Please clarify as you have sounded like you have termed everyone British a crook

There was a recent interview with Soyer who i believe is the prime minister of the self proclaimed TRNC on Sky news last week. He stated that Turkey will give protection to any buyers who buy land in Northern Cyprus and will pay any compensation that needs to be paid.

There has also been a change of laws in the TRNC which give Greek Cypriots the opportunity to apply for compensation and in some cases restitution of their former homes in the North . There are now ways for some GC's to protect their lands in the north legally before any settlement.

Sometimes your posts are sensible and other times they are so completely off the mark it is incredible. Without getting into a "my dads willy is bigger than your dads willy" competition why dont you at least try to look forward. The debate on who is right and who is wrong could go on for centuries. Didnt you know that there is 3 sides to every story? Side A, Side B and the truth. Going on about what happened centuries ago is never going to solve the Cyprus problem. I am sure you will agree that the world has changed since then.

Do you have a sensible, workable proposal? if so lets here it instead of whinging.

i dont know if you and the rest are tcs or british.

i hope that you understand that you are playing with the pain of people with such statement.

normally i wouldnt have given you an answer. it is my belief that this should be the work of moderate tcs (who happen to be absent lately).
so i ll just stick with our own nationalists and ignore you.

the only thing i would like to say to you, so you dont waste your time :
i have tcs friends. some i even made through these forums. i ve visited them in the north , they visited me in the south, we even met in germany. so let me tell you this : it doesnot matter how hard you try, you cannot destroy the picture that i have for tcs. it doesnot matter how hard you try...

I've noticed this sudden death around 10 o'clock on these bulliten boards. Then I twigged it, all the munchkins in Cyprus are off to bed with a cup of cocoa as its midnight there. Our clocks go forward this weekend so hopefully there will be an extra hour for debate.

We deserted them from a ruthless Turkish army so you can cleanse us, and keep our homes. It's all legit now because a nation of madmax's want to get into the EU now.
Taking human rights courses along with anger management courses outside Turkey,is the only way you'll understand life outside Turkish rule. Ray Liotta stared in a movie "No Escape", if you seen it, the way life is on that island, would turn into something like that with segregated communities that your asking for. I know, you'll cut your nose off to spite your face, but you know everything is within reason except keeping our homes, and land. If EU wasn't on the agenda, you would just keep it and keep saying piss off. The game is still being allowed to be played by Turkey at this point into negotiations with the EU, is not nice of the EU to let them get this far before denying them. All its doing, is pumping everyones beer muscles up in Turkey and theres no cooling down.
Just like in the movie "The Last Samurai" with Tom Cruise, the Samurai's legacy had to go just like the TRNC. It's only inevitable.
