How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Finally you got it - your veto card is worthless - Turkey knows too well that it will not get into the EU

I said Turkey in Europe. That doesn't have to mean in the EU. Turkey closer to Europe is where she will be if everyone plays along with Turkey on the EU path.

Who knows what the EU will look like in 15 years anyway?

It's people like you, simple people, who are causing so much unrest in the world. bigoted views without flexibility and as regards to the Catholic Church it's just making you look foolish, I don't know maybe you are a fool it certainly looks that way.

Will be really hard for Turkey to get into the EU given some critical opposition ... but it is far from impossible, the powers that be clearly what them in there and i believe it will eventually happen. Time will tell. cyprus solution will have to come first though

You can’t generalize
As the leader of the Catholics he disserves our respect.

So you won’t be visiting St Peters then? Probably best not, we all know what happened when the last Turk had a Roman holiday.
Poor little Turkeys nobody loves you.

Hilarious, keep showing everyone how stupid your comments really are...

Ok, so you've managed to get in an insult but you haven't critically argued your case. Which of my views are bigoted? Why are they causing unrest? Why are my views on the Catholic Church wrong?

Come on, argue your case - or have you not read any books...? :D

Organised religion and the leaders of it - whether they be muslim, christian or jew - has been responsible for or complicit in the worst of human misery for centuries.

So I have very little respect for the outmoded leaders of it.

I know it’s a cul de sac. It’s nothing to do with the finer points of real politic. It’s quite simple, Europe and Turkey have nothing in common. Absolutely nothing!
Walk around the Turkic ghettos in any European city and you can see why. It’s sickening.
Poor little Muslim Mackettey nobody wants him!
