There are strict requirements that they must meet to prove that they are entitled to Cypriot citizenship and the rights of every other Cypriot. If we were to stop allowing them the same rights as the GC then we would be no better than the so called "government" of the north. You know, the ones that won't allow the GC their basic human rights.

It is frustrating but unfortunately it's not tit for tat!!!!

A citizen of a democratic country has rights and OBLIGATIONS to respect the law, the constitution and his fellow citizens which includes paying taxes and that is what gives him the right to use the public services. Why thus give rights to people who do not respect their obligations. Unless they wont to consider themselves similar to third world countries and that they do not have money to pay for their health because of the circumstances. Then stop spending money in building casinos and build a bloody hospital...

They are greedy and will not want to give back what they have stolen.

i am not supporting the occupation lysi. but the only way to stop that is through negotiations, not by swearing at each other .

but you should start making a difference between politics and people.
the reason they are not giving varosia is not bc they are making money from the casinos there. it is deserted remember
its the stupid way we hundle politics. it is more important if we win , or not loose, and the same way it is important for them.
they will never give ammohostos back unless they get sth in return.

as for they are greedy, once again you are making generalizations.
firstly, i am not sure if you ever spelled the word : turkishcypriots .
i know that it takes an effort, but try it. but that -cypriots at the end of the word. perhaps you will start feeling that they are also a part of this island.

second a number of gcs that have visited their houses in the north, they were welcomed by tcs and many times they were told: this is not my house, my house used to be in the south. i hope we find a solution. dont make generalisations of people you havent even met.

tcs dont wake up in the morning saying, lets see how much money i can make from the land i stolen.

this argument with taxes is kind of flawd.
the enclaved also dont pay taxes.
moreover there is a case of a tc student who is suing the RoC for not giving her a grant that all cypriots receive , when her father as a company in the south and pays taxes to the RoC (being a business man he is taxed twice). but still we didnot give to her wht every student deserves
i believe she will in court in any case, but its one of those things that makes oyu wonder : why did we refuse ?
