Football fans - a form of discrimination based on football, especially the belief that one team is superior to another. Football may be expressed individually and consciously, through explicit thoughts, feelings, or acts, or socially and unconsciously, through Football institutions that promote inequality between clubs.

sounds like a perfect description of Arsenal and Spurs supporters

In all democratic countries, (e.g EU countries) all citizens are equal with no kind of discrimination based on their race, religion or language.
This is a fundamental part of democracy.

correct but what happens when all citizens are not treated equally and troops who are supposed to protect its citizens start killing them. What happens when politics fail, The only alternative is war.

this is where Cyprus stands now and has been for the last forty years - in a state of war, and will remain such untill a sollution is found.

if during this war there have been human right violations beyond that expected in a legal war i will be the first to applaud and cheer any guilty version handed to any official be they turk or greek.

please take all such (turk or greek) to the war crimes tribunal after they have dealt with the serbs.

I don't know about that - - - cyprus really has not been in a state of war since 74 has it? The situ is hardly war. It's a period of extreme statis if anything. I think peoples' definition of war needs refining somewhat, I've heard this lne pedalled before and it's a little ridiculous and difficult to take seriously.

p.s.

Small point, I havent looked at this thread of mine for a while, and I've just noticed 10 pages and over a hundred posts. Quite unusual amount of debate generated for a typical politics thread on this website, and all the points made are quite interesting and valid.

So, perhaps next time people feel the need to criticise Pumpernickle for pratting around and 'polluting' the cyprus forum with irrelevant and uneccesary junk, they'd like to see how much traffic and cool debate I get going, singlehandedly, using my style of controversy. And brains of course.

if it weren't for old Pumpy, this website would be a far lonelier and boring place.

Now stick that in yer trumpets and blow it, Messrs Admin and co.
