my samsung mobile fell down... now the tft-display doesent work right.

Does anybody know a good "phone-hospital" in Nicosia? I dont want to buy a new one.

Samsung will have a registered service centre in Cyprus as their products are being sold in Cyprus, however there seems to be nothing on their website regarding this.
Try calling 118192 and ask them for the Samsung registered service centre there is one somewhere, there seems to be nothing about it on the net.

We arranged to get a Nokia phone repaired there, took it in and showed them what was needed (just a hinge), "No Problem" they said, so we took the phone in and... No spare parts and NO idea when it could be fixed. Not that it should make any difference, but this was on a £460 moblie.

It was repaired at the Nokia Service Center in Amman, Jordan within an hour of showing it to them.

I was wondering, can you suggest an Internet shop within Cyprus where I could buy mobile phone and one of those local packages equivalent to the UK's pay as you go.

I am in Scotland and need to buy this from here for my property in Limassol for the tenants but I want to get the pay as you go so that if they run up high bill, it will be their problem, not mine.

Sam try any of the shops selling phones, like Germanos, Ailiotis, Stefanis etc.... Usually if they cannot handle the repair, they send it to the local agent (if there is one!) Good Luck

I can not find a website that would be able to sell any GSM telephone in Cyprus, the once you named do not seem to have website.

I just need to buy the GSM phone along with the pre-paid sum card package and have it delivered.

newhall it is www.expansys.com It is a worldwide company, you can get it delivered in UK or in Cy. I have bought several things from their site and they are quite cheaper than in the local shops.

I found this website earlier, but I left it aside because I saw the site is not based in Cyprus. It seems that the phone will be sent by DHL directly to my address in Cyprus for a fee – that is good!

I am glad I found it. They offer some Sim packages together with mobiles, ideal, but it does not say which network the sim card will be for, but I guess there is only one in Cyprus anyway.

By the way, the site does not say if I will be billed in CYP or GBP Pounds?

I will be paying by credit card.
