I’ll have you know that the last time Grumpy and Kafenes (RIP) were due to my place for lunch, I fell asleep for hours and when I finally woke up I found like half a dozen missed phone calls!

It was a disaster… I think I was on medication if I remember well… it was embarrassing! :)

And the poor guy died not too long after that, and I’ve felt terrible ever since! :(

He was a great bloke and sadly missed...

I still keep in touch with his wife and see her occasionally...

Yes he was…

He wined and dined us at his home in Paphos… he laid out a huge table with every dish imaginable from both Armenian and GC cuisines… and the following evening we also met up at one of the fancy hotels he performed at, where he did his Frank Sinatra repertoire for us at the classy piano bar while we sipped our drinks!

I’ll always remember the multi-talented big fella with the gentle heart. :(

Yes, he would always order the most enormous amount of food when we went out!

I think it is doable...

Years ago I had a customer in Limassol that was off-grid. Not by choice to be fair, EAC hadn't reached their remote property in the hills.

You can use cheaper lead-acid batteries if space is not an issue... perhaps a 'wet' central heating system rather than using 100% electricity?

Bit of a compromise but better than just having your system shut down I would think. :?
