I read this and thought, what is going on, your thoughts would be welcome.
Almost all of the refugees now living in Episkopi moved into Turkish Cypriot homes as opposed to building new homes on Turkish Cypriot land, but with the help of government subsidies this woman had built her house on Turkish Cypriot land.
So there we have it another case for the Laranca airport file. Another piece of TURKISH Cypriot land taken (or are we allowed to use the term “Stolen”) but of course there will be denial and it will be said it was OK it was a means to an ends situation. The women even got a grant from the government to help build the house. I wonder who the owner of the house is? The woman, the Goverment, or the Turkish Cypriot?

I think she might need the services of dear Ms Cherie Blair.

Do you still believe that it is right for the Orams to have to demolish their house, what is good for the goose is good for the gander, I believe is a fitting terminology.

The fact is Turkish Cypriot land has been taken in the south and used so the next time you feel that you have to adopt your whiter than white attitude just remember there is always two sides to a story, the point is we live in the real world!

economic needs will dictate.

present and past generations will live with past injustices ruling their actions, but at some point the desire for self-improvement will overide nationalistic views.
