Hmm, I think the original Stargate SG1 was and remains excellent, I am not sure about Atlantis though ... it's too much of a "copy" in my opinion ...

Brother do you get sky one in Cyprus? If so what size dish are you using?

PS if we are tlaking si-fi series, anyone like Babylon 5? Another fav of mine (I have some rough copies in divx format too if anyone is intertested. not great quality but not bad. Think I have all of series 4 and 5 and the various movies)

Firstly i am in u.k so i get to watch it every week and am up to date on the series.
I am not going to say whats happened so far but it just gets better and better, so if you guys want any info ask, but i will not just splurt it out in case i ruin it for someone.

Atlantis is a bit of a copy but its going to get much better, because if you have been watching sg1 you will know.

Alex, atlantis is going to get much better, trust me on that one.

Erol, babylon 5 was great, pity it finished so early, but if you goto kazaa you can download current episodes of any series.

Erol, one option for you would be to buy the DVD box sets through www.amazon.co.uk ... each season costs about 40 english pounds, and all seasons of SG1 are available up to season 7 ... that is how I caught up with the series.

I hope you are right about Atlantis, so far I am not impressed ... I don't like the "Wraith" as baddies, neither do I like the main characters. I don't see the same dynamic as we had between, let's say, Jackson and O'Neill, or Carter and O'Neill ...

SG1 being so sucessful its very hard for the new series to match it just yet but do not forget prometheaus is on its way and daniel jackson is standing by.

It will get better just give it time.

Hi SG1 fans, the series is flowing at break neck speeds but i am starting to warm up to the atlantis people, i like sheppard and think by season 2 they will be firmly rooted.

Hey guys this week saw the season finale of stargate sg1....wow it was the best and guess what they are going to atlantis in its finale....just gets better and better.

Have to admit I only saw one of them and wasn't too impressed. I remember the originals from the early 1980s. Can't beat those haircuts and Starbuck's daliances with the 'laydies'. I found this one all a bit too polished.
