I can’t understand the logic of spending a day or two downloading a movie which may not even work, when the cost of the bandwidth used surpasses that of renting it!

well now with the 4mbit connections in cyprus it takes about 30 minutes to download a movie if you go to the right places ( NOT p2p )

in england i was downloading them in 4 minutes with my 20mbit virgin media connection

with vlc player all movies you download work. only from p2p but in p2p programs you get these anti piracy groups sharing fake files to make the people who download movies give up and not want to download copywrited files such as movies or tv episodes.

within th emonth you can download hundreds if not thousands of movies.. instead of waisting time going to the dvd rental then not liking the movie and on top paying.. if i download a movie and i like it, i go and buy the dvd

bit defender for last 5 years not 1 virus

movie downloads approx 1hr 40 mins for upto 1gb file size.

lots of good non virus sites for music, movies etc.

www.bitcomet.com is one or www.vuze.com is another.

bit torrent can be fast espesially with private sites www.isohunt.com and www.thepiratebay.com.. i dont use torrent myself i use 100mbit ftp dumps which are from dedicated servers they are safe espesially with ssl connections always full download speed maxed out a 20mbit connection and a 50mbit downloading at 6.30MB/sec and from newsgroups is the same fast speeds no viruses just fast downloads.. imagine with the 50mbit how fast people are downloading the movies. you no longer wait all day and the file is always real unlike the p2p crap which is filled with fakes and slow downloads because you download form other peoples pcs you connect and share your files so it all depends on the other users upload speed and when they close the program ur download stops from that person as you download from multiple people with the same file..

FTP all the way you never go wwrong with linux/unix servers with such high uploads and where the rippers of the dvds upload them to ftp dumps before anywhere else.. p2p is the last place to get the files

lol i used one once years ago for 5 minutes and that was it, i never again used one.. but im sure in the 6 years they have changed alot and are very good..

it would bhe nice to own a mac once to see if they are good. but with mac comes different programs..etc i dont know if i would like it they are much harder to use also

File Palio, if you're in to gaming stick to pcs. cos the apps aren't there for mac.
Macs have always been easy to use, they're piss easy which is why I use them and they never crash.
