I should closely check the spelling, punctuation and grammar on those e-mails if I were you.

Hi mad-dog

I know Norwich well, one of my favourite UK cities; last time I was over I eat at 'Delia's' restaurant, which was great, but pricey - eating out in the UK always seems so expensive.

The toilet in my office is leaking all over the floor, this morning, so I am in immediate need of a plumber but I guess it is a long way to come!

Do loads of research before coming here and, unless you have funds behind you, be sure you will be able to live on your earnings here.

I sometimes get the feeling that everybody who is planning to live in Cyprus thinks, thier Dick Wittington and Paphos is London!!!!
Lana's last point, should be read and understood properly before booking any travel arrangments!!!

The best place for continuity of work for an english plumber is likely to be Paphos because of the very high British population.

If you work for an employer then you are likely to earn about £40 a day and you will most likely be using your own transport and tools.

I don't know about 'sunny Cyprus' it's been bloody freezing here lately.

Good Luck

But Paphos is the New Colony!

Loved the Dick Whittington reference. The streets are just littered, no gold!

Hay Twinkle,
Just got to ask you what the picture is? It sort of looks like a pirate gingerbread! am I anywhere close?
