This forum is being overrun

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Viewpoint » Sun Feb 19, 2006 9:45 pm

There is no plan that will be 100% acceptable to both sides, what will appear in our favor we will vote down and as we saw with the annan plan what you considered to be in our favor you rejected, its a viscious circle which represents our diffrences and why we can never bridge those differencies the soon we realize this fact the better. Then we can come to our senses and agree partition and get on with the rest of our lives as to good neighbours.

It wasnt us who chucked the ANNAN PLan down the drain it was the Greeks, we were open to comprimise sadly Greek Cypriots werent. The Greek Cypriots couldnt even deal with a FEW basic human rights requirements for the Turkish Cypriots of the island to be equals and have their rights

If you want someone to blame GO TAKE A GOOD LOOK IN THE MIRROR.

You screwed up and now the Turkish Cypriot position is a 100% better one than before the Refereandum, hey thanks

Lala, don't be too hard on yourself calling yourself an idiot. I'm sure you are a smart person. Why should we have rejected a plan that clearly granted us everything that we wanted. If we had rejected it, we would not have had the relative comfort that we have now. What we are interested in is our political rights. We can go cry because "they don't love us" all we want, but we are complete idiots if we reject a solution plan that gives us our political rights because of this.

Sadik Bey, I'm not into Denialism I am more of a Realistic and I'm not to proud and stuck up to admit when I screw up.

And face it not only me but my family screwed up :(

Well, in the long run, in an Ironic twist it actually worked out better for Turkish Cypriots  all I can say is that well thats life.

Those who deserve Justice one day get it and those who dont loose out in Ironic twists

Apart from this forum, in the real world of Politriks, the Greek Rejime is still anti Turkish-Cypriot, now the pressure is on them and amazingly the International Community for the FIRST time has took a more pro-Turkish Cypriot stance.

I must say, I do like this Papaplonkos, he helps us more than Talat lol unless Papadoklos is a pseudo-Turk in disguise :P

Mr Lala, this has not translated into what you really want, cash. This pariah regime , whose economy relies on gambling, prostitution, drugs and money laundering. Turks still come over and use or abuse the Greek welfare system, and have to seek employment in the R.O.C. What has your illegal regime done with the billions of Turkish lira that has been showered by Ankara on Denktash? Nothing, apart from a few tacky hotels.

Micheal, have you ever been to Turkish Cyprus? I dont think you have because you'd be really really shocked by the reality.

Its more of an exclusive holiday destination of unspoiled and untampered beauty  there are many luxury areas who benefit from the very cheap running costs.

There has been more development lately.

However, our side is far less spoiled then the Greek side if I am to be honest, we have nicer beaches and scenary.

I mean Aya Napa  , common its a dump, those Tourist resorts on the Greek side are so shoddy, its like ENGLAND in the Sun, not very appealing.

Your just attracting cheap tourists who like locusts are degregading your side into decadance then leave it with that concrete mess, horrible food and sexual diseases.

So you have fun, we'll carry on attracting quality Tourists and more cultural tourists who add alot more to the Island and economy and not fall for the "Tenerife" Concrete Jungle Tourist Trap

Actually we have "Green Peace" Activists to thank lol, they wont let any Beaches or areas of important Natural Beauty be touched, why dont they have much power on your side? They have alot of power in Turkey aswell trying to protect these Turtles and other wildlife.

What exists is an illegally occupied part of Cyprus by Turkey.

Changing the names of the villages and trying to destroy the history of 3500 years will not help you to make the north part of our country Turkish.

The foreigners who used force trying to make Cyprus their own had succeeded only temporarily. The same will be the fate of the illegal Turkish occupation. Enjoy your criminal occupation while it lasts. In the end justice and legality will prevail.

Your really sad, wow I hope your launcing that invasion force soon, our brave Soldiers will make mince-meat out of you and you know it, its a joke thinking you'd even have the guts to fight us while our forces are here.

Oh yeah, its my country, its called Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus TRNC, KKTC, get used to it, we've been here now for 400 years, its just as much our Island as yours, if you dont like it tough your just gonna have to get used to tolerating Turks and accepting Turkish Cyprus

I don't know if you know about it, but once there was this thing called "Ottoman empire". They were quite tough, like you think you are. But the balance of power keeps changing dear Lala.

It is as much as yours as it is ours, and therefore no part of it can be purely "Turkish" as you claim. The whole Cyprus has 82% of Greek Cypriots and 18% of Turkish Cypriots.

It's funny, I've been away from this forum for ages. I come back and everyone's still saying exactly what they we're a year ago. Even all the new names. You got the GC on one side the TC on the other and the British in the middle stirring it as usual.

Lala - True, true, Turkey has invaded and still holds a big chunk of the island. And I agree that as much as we may all like to believe there is justice in this world, lets all face it - there isn't. So we will continue to have these instances where GC will cry 'no fair' and Turks will understably posture and be proud of their amazing achievement of capturing half of a small island with the population of only 1% of their own size..(with the help of the world's superpower of course). So while you pat yourself on the back and speak of making people 'mince meat' (so not European). Just remember that like everyone else on the planet Turkey does what it's told by it's master. Because lets face it, otherwise you would have taken the whole island.

Oh, Lala last time I checked was the name of a Telletubby?
