...not Greek food, unlike the Jewish Deli for example, but the Continent's cuisine; they spread quickly feeding their client's the food they enjoyed, (and the personal care that comes from being a regular customer,) served fresh, and eaten daily.

...witnessing famine, these immigrants valued food, the social experience of food and the comfort it offers; it's no wonder securing themselves in a new country that they made food the center of their lives and, a family affair in America.
