So you are suggesting that the views of a Princeton University professor can be countred with a Ggreek Site (let me knot use the word propaganda not to insult you, but heavily biased would suffice)?

The sources and references are all there if you care to read. Otherwise there is no point in continuing this conversation.

"Turkish Cypriots have nothing to do with ancient Cyprus either, but nonetheless they are Cypriots"--bg turk

Who claims otherwise? The Turkish Cypriots are Cypriots but they do not claim to be the same Cypriots that existed 3,000 years ago. Its not the same situation-what would be the same is if Turkish Cypriots were claiming they were the real Spartans. Your propaganda is getting weak.

Nobody in their sane mind or any serious academician would claim that ancient macedonians were slavic, have I ever said this?
All I am saying is that Macedonians were an ethnic groups which was distinct from the Greeks, just like the Thracians and Ilirians.

Again you preposterously accuse me of propaganda before even knowing my view, show me where I sad that actually the Anciend Macedonians were slavic?

"Nobody in their sane mind or any serious academician would claim that ancient macedonians were slavic, only a few extremist slavic macedonians do that."--bgturk

The same extremist Skopian websites you copy and paste to this forum. Like this site http://faq.macedonia.org/history/ancien ... icity.html I do believe we are done.

Very good. That is because the Skopians believe they are ancient Macedons and some dont even believe they are Slavic. That is why Slav is not mentioned
