From what I have seen in this problem, it is clear most are of an uneducated standard when it comes to cyprus.

1) The Terrorists EOKA and the devil worshipping archbishop Makarios condemend the Turkish Cypriot people to live in ghettos and into less than 3% of the island territories. Hence, becoming refugees in the once Ottaman Empire run Cyprus

2) 300 years of prosperity of both side under Ottoman Rule. The Greeks couldn't even achieve that from 1960 onwards.

3) The Turks saved both sides from the evil of the Enosis supporters. 800 Turkish Cypriots are still missing on the list from the conflict from 1955 to 1974. They were all victims of an attempted genocide as stated in the infamous Akritas Plan. Half of the greeks missing are through inter civil conflict between pro Makarios and pro Enosis supporters.

4) Your churches preach hatred to your fellow Turkish CYpriots calling them dogs and Gavurs.

5) Greek EOKA and national guard massacred turks from 1963 onwards. 103 Turkish Villages were destroyed. 5 villages, all Turkish Cypriot residents, were exterminated.

6) Turkish Cypriots were displaced from their properties in Southern Cyprus, where all their homes were destroyed.

SO PLEASE, DO NOT ACT LIKE YOUR THE ONLY VICTIMS IN THIS SAD STORY. THE TURKISH CYPRIOTS ARE MORE OF THE VICTIMS THEN THE GREEK CYPRIOT POPULATION. AND WE HAVE UNFAIR EMBARGOES AGAINST US.

Soon the embargoes will be lifted, Soon the TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN CYPRUS will be recognised. And soon, Cyprus will be a 2 seperate state nation!

Allah Bless The Turkish Cypriots, The Motherland Turkey and bless all the innocents children and families who were massacred by the greeks.

P.S. I know of Greek hardship as well, I dont deny that. But do not make yourselfs out to be the only victims.

What hardships? Greek Cypriots were always taken care by the angels. We had the Ottoman rule, the invasion, the occupation and all the other nice things you were offering to us. Thank Allah we have the Turks otherwise our lives would be miserable

2,000 Cyprus was HELLENIC.

Not to history it wasn't. You were always under occupation etc. It shows from your population around the world. Turkish Cyprios total around 2 million while the Greek Cypriots around 5 million. I would like to know if Cyprus was HELLENICE for 2,000 years, how come your population isn't the size of USA?

And please, I would like Greeks to address their crimes against the Turkish Cypriots. Then I shall start respecting this forum for its truthfulness.

Please, dont talk to the greks for human rights. If you want, explain to us your policy on the armenian, the kurds, and the invasion/occupation for so many years. Are you happy?
Dont tell us about junta. They were wrong and they are in jail. Where are yours, like Etzevit? Is he a heroe to you? Is the army controlling the gov or not?
Please, be serious. Turkey is the last one to talk about human rights.
If Cyprus voted for uniting with Greece (96% in 1950) and then the english put you against us to keep their control, who do you blame? You would do the same if you had a revolution and somebody betrayed it. i do not agree, dont get me wrong, I just explain you how they felt, both TC and GC.

This is the difference between Greece and Turkey. While in Greece the criminals that made the illegal coup were convicted and spent their lives behind bars, in Turkey the criminals like Ecevit that did even worst crimes, not only they were not put in jail but they continued to be active in the politics of the Turkish state.

The reason for this is simple: Junta in Greece was a black spot in history and Greeks have resisted and finally overthrown those criminals and democracy was restored. In Turkey such criminals are considered the norm. Turkey has never been a democracy, it is run by the army, and spreading terrorism and committing crimes is what is considered normal for them.

You were being slaughtered? During the intercommunal conflict both GCs and TCs had the same amount of casualties, some 100s for each in a period of more than a decade.
Yet the Turkish army has murdered 6000 people, and ethnically cleansed 200.000 within days. So how can you talk about slaughtering when the Turks are the greatest butchers ever?

Ecevit a hero!!! The biggest criminal in the region....please start to be serious. Junta is in jail because we realise the mistakes and condemned them for life. Ecevit IS a criminal as he is the mind of an invasion of a foreign country in Cyprus, in the name of saving the TC, killing so many GC, and occupying 40% of our country. He forced you to live in poverty for so many years playing the game of the turnkish army and stupid english diplomats that wanted to have control on teh island by dividing us. Wake up.
