I dont hate pontians. I have a good friend witch is pontians. If i ask him for some help, he never said "no". Also I have some very good friends from Russia. Myself, i am born in Germany and i live in Nicosia. So i am a foreigner as well.

Pontious, the problem with Pontians is that many of them are trouble makers. Percentage wise there are much more pontian trouble makers than Cypriot trouble makers.

These trouble makers create a bad name for the whole Pontian community and unfortunately some people generalize and think that all Pontians are like those trouble makers, which is obviously not the truth.

Pontious... this is very common amongst Greeks... but Cypriots tend to stereotype e.g. Kalamarades, Pontioi etc. etc. It is so easy to influence the Cypriots because in general we learn to distance ourselves from our culture because some people want to make us believe that it is not really ours but something alien and foreign, however obvious it is!

We don’t particularly like them in Greece as well. Not because we are racists but it is the way they behave argument fights and deception but some of them are good people like us.
