Personally, I don't give a toss about peoples nationalities, race or where they come from. Every individual is different.
Every "Pontion" I have met has been very kind towards me, and have shown that they are very technically minded.
I have seen locals shouting out "re bondie" to them. Of course that will annoy them, the way it annoys me when people call me a Charlie. I had one bloke call me a Charlie, saying how my parents and grandparents were traitors to Cyprus by going to England. That earned him the threat of either disappearing from where I was or he'd be my experiment in seeing how many punches it takes to knock somebodies head off their shoulders. He made the right choice by running, not walking. His brother who was with me was kind enough to apologise.
Hearing the same thing over and over again, said in a nasty way, where you can see the hatred in peoples eyes is enough to make you snap.
How would you respond if somebody kept shouting "re Charlie" or "re Bondie" or even "re Cypriot" all the time? wouldn't it make you do things out of character as well?
