I had no doubt these racist cunts were 100% responsible for this tragedy. Illegal immigrants they may have been. Pakistanis they may have been. They may have been a burden on the Greek economy, they may even in time have taken a few jobs away from the cunts, and caused a housing shortage. Think of all the bad things of them that you can. The Greek coast guard may have tried to tow the boat, that does not mean they intentionally tried to sink it. It could mean that they attempted to tow it to safety.

You see, how you want to make it everyone elses fault but theirs....due to the stupid choice they made.

At the end of the day, these people and the people who tried to smuggle them are responsible for the tragedy they brought to themselves and another nations shores.

Not that they deserve to die but they are stupid people, a danger to themselves and to others.

The Greek coast gaurd who may have been towing them to safety is now allegedly responsible for the tragedy because they were put in a situation where they were expected to help.

These people are not illegal migrants they are mostly refugees. Refugees are not a burden to anybody, all they need is a chance and they will re=establish their lives and contribute to the society they live in. Greece and Italy should be helped in this situation by the EU. They talked about taking their fair share of refugees but so far it has all be just hot air. We have 40,000 coming over on small boats and Fish has the audacity to ask the French to take them when the French take over 100,000 a year.
What is wrong with allowing these people to travel safely on normal transport. This resembles the slave ship mentality.

Survivor testimonies are starting to emerge. Citing the Greek newspaper Kathimerini, the news agency Associated Press published interviews with Hassan, a 23-year-old Syrian, and Rana, a 24-year-old Pakistani.

They said the boat's engine broke down repeatedly after three days at sea. Some of the people they believe were working for the smugglers mended it only for it to break down again, they said, adding that they think the captain may have lost his way. According to Hassan’s account, the captain was forced to call for help late on Tuesday after many of the passengers complained about the lack of food and water. According to Rana's account, Many passengers panicked and rushed to the opposite side, causing the boat to capsize and sink. Rana says he could not swim but managed to stay afloat until a "large ship retrieved him." His wife and children, who were in a cabin, were not so lucky.

According to the Greek coast guard, up until shortly before the overcrowded fishing boat capsized and sank, it had been making steady progress towards Italy and had refused all help from the Greek authorities and nearby ships, saying that they wanted to make it to Italy.

Pictures and videos taken by passengers aboard some of the nearby ships have also come to light. They appear to show the migrant ship relatively static. According to the BBC’s Europe Correspondent Nick Beake, the migrant ship was "not moving for at least seven hours before it capsized."

The master of the Lucky Sailor "reported that those on board this boat were very hesitant to receive any assistance and at any attempt of approach ... started to maneuver away from M/T Lucky Sailor." Those on board were reportedly shouting they wanted to go to Italy. They were, however, finally convinced to take the extra food and water.

Mohammed said the survivors he spoke with blamed the Greek coast guard for "towing" the ship and causing it to capsize -- a charge the Greek coast guard continue to deny. However, in the face of numerous similar testimonies, they have now stated they approached the ship with a “small buoy operation”, according to Politico, in order to try and get on board. However, they say the rope was untied by those on board, who continued to refuse help.

A Guardian report claimed that the situation on the vessel was so "bleak that even before it sank there had already been six deaths after it ran out of fresh water".
