You invited my interest with your incessant references to my country being Swineland and its people Swine. Not to mention all your treasured thoughts on its culture, history and well known natives. I note you're more careful now in that respect. Although, you're sure to get at least a dozen "Swines" a day in. Perhaps you're comfortable with its being a word you know how to spell.

I think it's more the case that an idiot is somebody who joins a thread (this week Paphitis/Sudan) without having anything meaningful to add and very little in the way of understanding but just as an excuse to do a bit of soundbite trolling in an effort to ingratiate himself with others. FWIW, a bit of advice. When you do that it just makes you look a prat.

You haven't the faintest idea about any of it. Which is pretty much the usual situation with you.

I think when it comes to being boring....................... you're treading on thin ice there.

I noticed there is no refugee scheme for Sudan. Is it because they are not blond?

South Sudan, (or any other country) did not invade, nor are there massive bombings of civilians, though it is a brutal civil war.

...there is a difference; who has refused to provide humanitarian aid, are there systematic efforts to prevent such help?

Come now RW, there does not have to be an invasion or massive bombing of civilians for people to want to escape to a safer place. Like the argument about refugees who reach a safe place should apply for asylum there not in any other country. There is no such specification in International Law.

It is so dangerous the Swine will not fly their planes to where these people are.

Of course there is also the case of Afghanistan, Yemen Somalia, Syria, Iraq and Iran where people need to find refuge but there is no safe routes for them other than boats.

Why can't they do the same for them as they did to Ukrainians, let the British people offer them refuge.
