...a new Age, that of information

...anything can be built, now that information is processed; the only limitation is our own minds.

More and more people use the term "AI" (artificial intelligence) wrongly.
Even our LG Washing machine is advertised as AI just because it weighs the clothes to decide how much washing time it will do. But this is not AI, this is just a program. It will always do what the developer of the program told it to do.

"AI" is still a program, in which however the bot gets only the basics from the developer and then learns by itself i.e without any further human guidance. It makes decisions that even the developer can't understand, surprising both the developer and other experts watching.

The best known example of "AI" so far is the AlphaZero bot, developed by a Cypriot living in the UK.
His company and the project, were bought by Google, to develop more real AI bots for various uses.

We had the same situation when robots first appeared. The fear was the corporations were going to use them instead of people. It is a self defeating policy as corporations need people with money in their pockets to sell.

When you combine AI and Robots, there will not be any need for people. It just does not work.
