When the Ukrainian war started, all the EU countries set up facilities to take millions of refugees from Ukraine.
The Germans and the Scandinavian countries did take over a million Syrian refugees from Syria.

Yet there are no such facilities today from any other country other than Ukraine. People are forced to cross seas and drown to escape.

Today is no exception. This time in Italy and what's worse they actually crossed the water and were about to land. But because of the hostile environment created by the Italian government more people have died.

May they all rest in peace.

The Ukrainian refugees were welcomed by families for a fee and are allowed to work to support themselves by working. Were as the rest are not allowed to work and have to be placed in places where they are noticeable and face harsh treatment from the local ignorant populations who have been brainwashed into thinking that these people are not refugees but illegal migrants.

It is not a crime for a person to turn up at our shores and claim refugee status. Of course their case has to be considered and can be accepted or denied. Over 90% of these people do win their case and get refugee status.

The Home Office will on Thursday begin sending out copies of the 11-page document to about 12,000 people from Afghanistan, Eritrea, Libya, Syria and Yemen as part of Rishi Sunak’s plans to cut the “legacy backlog” of 92,000 asylum claims.

The issue is not even that. The issue is they have given 92,000 people 20 days to receive the paper work, fill them in and return them which is an impossible task. The idea is to refuse them easily even though they are entitled to it. As they will not be able to get help to fill in these forms as they are asking for information they need to find out from back home. But it will not wash, it will e defeated in the courts.

BTW the 92000 is the backlog, there is over 150000 people waiting. Kept locked up, unable to work and pay their way, having to be fed and housed by the state. Only a total idiot would come up wit such aplan. Notice the blond people did not get this deal though.
