Why on earth would the president of Turkey remove these areas from the list of being in danger from earthquakes about a year ago.

Sooner or later there is a big one coming and it will hit Istanbul with 16 million population. Is Istanbul ready for an earthquake?

Another one today. A 6.4 magnitude earthquake has struck southern Turkey today

Turkish authorities have recorded more than 6,000 aftershocks since that earthquake hit, but the BBC team in the region said today's tremor felt much stronger than previous ones.

The police in Turkey have incredible powers even without declaration of State of Emergency. They have been killing innocent civilians which were leftist for decades.

It must be said that death in police custody happens in Swineland too.
