There is a report that GCs were not allowed to cross at Ledra crossing but they allowed the water they brought to come through and they will send it to Turkey.

Swine are everywhere today, "TRNC" is no exception.

Turkey has a vast construction industry with machinery and personnel required to help with the effort to dig people out from under the collapsed buildings. Erdogan has done nothing. There are no stores of blankets, tents and other essentials needed for those who are rescued. And yet he has the money to build himself a thousand room palace.

He is the shame of the west who not only tolerate such cunts but actively support him in every way possible. So long as the western interests are not threatened he can get away with murder. Just like Saddam did for decades. Of course we all know what happened to Saddam when he dared threaten western interests.

I just solved my query as to why there has been absolutely no help to Syria.
It's because of the SANCTIONS!! :o  :(
Imagine that....
Mother Russia was the only one who helped.

Yes indeed, Syria would not agree to remove sanctions for just the northern territories unless theirs is removed too.

Lets see where this leads to. This will be a first.

Officials in Turkey say 113 arrest warrants have been issued in connection with the construction of buildings that collapsed in Monday's earthquake.

Turkish police have already taken at least 12 people into custody, including building contractors.

This is what endemic corruption looks like.

The akp is an Islamo facist socialist regime and the contractors were probably part or erdos gang.

If Turkey was a true decoctratic capitalist society, this would never have happened.

I will respond to this just as soon as I stop laughing. Assuming I am not hospitalised from laughter.

In Cyprus every new building is supposed to be certified to withstand earthquakes. However I am sure that if such a big earthquake as the one in Turkey/Syria would occur, > 3/4 of our buildings would end up in ruins. Nicosia within the walls would all vanish ...
