Seasonal Greetings

Postby Lordo » Wed Dec 14, 2022 4:53 pm

To all my GC Christian friends I wish you all: Μακρά Χριστούγεννα και Ευτυχισμένο το Νέο Έτος

To all my TC friends: Yeni Yɩlɩnɩz Kutlu ve Mutlu olsun

To all my English friends: Merry Christmas and a Happy New year.

No need to wish my TC friends anything to do with Christmas as they do not celebrate it.

Well, it is true that the TC’s do not celebrate Christmas in the true sense that is intended, however, most TCs in the UK do participate in Christmas, especially the kids, since they get money and presents for Christmas and for Bayram! :D

I agree but we just take part in eating and drinking so no need to wish anything, especially as we are partaking in a Christian festivity and are accumulating sin in the eyes of Allah, especially when we are drinking alcohol. It is best not to reminded them of the situation I think.

I stopped giving presents a very long time ago. Just give everyone cash and let them do as they wish.

@ Lordo
I estimate 90% of the GCs celebrate it as a souvla and alcohol day...

Season's greetings.

Indeed we are same people.

If you are anywhere near Kerimia crossing you will certainly smell the souvla from my place if not see the smoke. Lamb, Chicken and Sheftali
