Given that and a lack of experience I doubt their air force - and more particularly navy - would last long in a conflict.
Well, the Chinese have the numbers if they were to enter any war.
Absolutely. Around 2 million I believe. The US - something like 1.4 million. There's always a quantity/quality part of the equation though.
Except that the 1.4 m US is spread all over the world. China not!
They have their own space lab, launching their own astronauts in their own rockets.
Yep. But they do copy things. Not just phones and TVs Their new J20 stealth fighter (in it's early days) wasn't designed from scratch. It incorporates elements of the F22 (operational for 25 years), F35 and a now defunct MIG design. The reports I've seen suggest it isn't anything to lose sleep over. But then, I'm not up there of course The Russians were less than impressed that it sported quite a bit of design from their MIG. Probably kissed and made up though these days.
Yes, again, numbers (quantity) over quality does have a an advantage at times if they can still inflict damage. Ask any Ant colony!
They have also landed on the dark side of the moon....first by anyone!

I can't see anybody being rash enough to invade China (well, ditto Russia for that matter). The assumption being they would come outside - sorta thing.

Mmm - but you or I could wipe out an ant colony before breakfast. Quality Doc Martens. Plus some WD40 and duct tape (works on anything) .

Ah yes, but now you are talking in equivalence going nuclear on the Ants. Regardless, there are more Ant colonies than there are forces against them. Ask the Chinese!

Huwaei P50 which It’s still “made in China” (sic) is better than, and half the price of, Iphone 14. Surprise-surprise China is a World leader in 5G, and according to Deloite Emerges as Global Tech, Innovation Leader
Father bought this Subaru 2 stroke motorcycle dressed up in a mini truck cabin in 1970.And look how far the Japanese advanced ever since. Same will happen with China.
I recall, back in the 60s, early 70s, how Japanese cars were then treated with contempt.
Much later, on a QA course, they told us that if there was a faulty vehicle component on the production line at Fords then they would simply pull it off. Anything rather than stop/slow things down. The Japanese developed a different philosophy. They would halt the line to investigate the problem, what had caused the fault, rectify the process to prevent any recurrence, then restart the line. Telling.
Hope I’m wrong but I got the impression he was in a bad way. Unfortunately, with a phone change since the one time we met I’ve lost his number. Tim Drayton was a neighbour and I believe a friend but no longer around here unfortunately. If anyone’s able to contact him perhaps we can find out how Milti got on?

You got to be kidding me!
Apple is an entire ECO System known as IOS and it doesn't just stop with the Iphone, but it begins with the Apple Watch, Ipad Next gens, Ipad Air and Macbooks and Macbook Pros. It is a rival for Microsoft and you thinbk Hiawei is comparable to that?
Some say IOS is better than Microsoft. And to those who are use to it, it probably is the case.
There is a reason why it is half the price! It's because it's twice as shit.
Supply and Demand my man. Apple can name its price because its products are in demand.
