On another note, how did Pickford who plays for Everton 17th in the premier league get chosen over Ramsdale who plays for Arsenal 1st in the Premier league.

One last observation. What the fuck was Kane doing taking a penalty Saka won?

Shut it plonkenstein, I bet you was cheering for France.

France was the better team, no?

England only had a chance to score twice by penalties.

France scored twice by teamwork and skill.

France deserved to win.

I said, I bet he was cheering for France.

Whether France played better or not is besides the point.

Maybe?

And so if he did?

I usually cheer for the best team.

Go Morocco! :D

I suppose this is where we differ.

I would support the national team.

Those who cheer for the "best team" are usually referred to as glory hunters.

Well, my “home team” is Switzerland and they got their butts kicked by Portugal. :D

I wanted Switzerland to win, but the better team won and I respected the better team for playing much better and cheering them when they played well and scored great goals.

Cheering a better team and supporting one’s home team is a different thing.

My other home teams would be the USA, England (UK) and Cyprus.

So, how would I support both the USA and England when they played against each other?

Same when USA played Wales (UK)?

Same when England (UK) played Wales (UK)?

You see Max, it is not a clear cut for me as it may be for you when supporting your “home team”!

Cheering for the best team for me is the best solution over supporting the home team, no?

Not exactly HIS home team when it is England, is it Kiks?. Not exactly yours either it seems.

Only a plonkenstein from la la land would have supported France. And given the excuse that the manager is rubbish and its the players from local clubs that he supports instead.

What a plonkenstein!

I don’t know if Lordo has any French in him or not, or whether he supported France over England or not, but if he had supported France over England, so what? Everyone is free to support or not support any country’s national team, and just because they are living in the said country should not be a reason to support such team.

I can assure you, many English people put money on France to win the game against England.

It really is very simple. France has Saliba and Giroud in their national team. Switzerland has Xhaka, England has Saka and Ramsdale and Brazil has Jesus and Martinelli.

I don't have to support one team, I leave that to simpletons lake the Toilet Brush Boy. I support all the players who play for the team I support and see often live.

who fuckin died and made TBB football god, he can fuck off. I will support those who I want to support using my principles. One question for the TBB, how many players from his club he supports play for top teams in the world. I suspect fuck all

Anyway, Saka and Ramsdale are the best players in the team, Saka did a bit part and Ramsdale was not used at all. We have a striker called Nketia who could have gone there and give Kane a rest but he was not even taken. The reason he cannot get in the team is because of Jesus, now he is injured we shall see Nketiah shine.

When you have shit manager he creates a shit team. Fact.

I sometimes wonder how many people here have been to a live game where there is over 60,000 supporters roaring the team on with the opposing team is Barca, Juve and Milan?

It seems I am not the only one to criticise the Southgate.

Rio Ferdinand: Substitutions is where Gareth Southgate let us down
Ferdinand watched the match and he has criticised Southgate for his tactical decisions.

The former England defender feels Southgate was reactive with his substitutions and not proactive.

Southgate made four substitutions in the match – with the first shortly after England fell 2-1 behind.

Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount were both introduced in the 79th minute.

Marcus Rashford came on with five minutes of normal time remaining, while Jack Grealish entered the fray a few moments before the final whistle.

Ferdinand was complimentary of the England boss for his decision making during the tournament but feels he ‘came up short’ in the quarter-final defeat to France.

Ferdinand feels he should have made changes at 1-1 rather than when they were losing.

I will be very happy if the final will be between Argentina and France. Both have great potential, I really enjoyed their matches.

I have a feeling it is Moroccan year. First African country to win it. The French and Moroccans have beef going back to colonial days. Nothing will give them more pleasure than to beat the French and it's like a home game for them. They are used to the Environment.

I wasn't in favor of either France or England but I was pissed by the way "England's" players were trying to pick up a penalty. The 2nd one wasn't a penalty imo, and the referee was right ignoring it initially.
This is one of the cases the VAR in slow motion distorts the reality , by making a non deliberate slight push on the run, look very different. I watched it on real tempo and on VAR 5 times!!
