Great minds think alike. How much were they if one may inquire. I have actually found out the very mulberry tree we used to sleep under to avoid the midday sun when we were tending to our fields. How innocent were we thinking we were in heaven. Who would have said just a few thousand lunatics on each side a few years later would have turned our homeland to hell.

The lands department has gone fully internet based these days... In the past you'd need a whole day to transfer deeds, today everything is done from the internet, you set an appointment and get the job done in 10 minutes.
Too sad the majority of GCs don't have a clue about this govnt site albeit it's on the net for at least 10 years. They still buy/sell properties having no clue of their real value...
I used it a lot this year, recording the position of the property on sale on my phone's GPS, and then passing the coordinates on the relevant tab.
And here I am now having spent almost all our lifetime savings helping the children buy their own houses.

And yes I agree with you of what separated the people of Cyprus. Things are changing a little though, there's some cooperation among Cypriots going on, e.g. 2 days ago they said on TV that a TC woman scientist working at Kostrikis team in the Uni, discovered we have 5 different variants of AIDS in Cyprus.
The most striking of this discovery is that she proved they are the most complicated variants worldwide.
