Recep Erdogan, Crimea should be returned to Ukraine.

JUST IN: Turkish President Recep Erdogan said that according to international law, Crimea should be returned to Ukraine.

Ankara supports Ukraine's territorial integrity and rejects the illegal annexation of Crimea, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Tuesday.

"The return of Crimea to Ukraine, of which it is an inseparable part, is essentially a requirement of international law," Erdogan said in a video message to the Second Crimea Platform Summit.

The Crimea Platform is an international coordination mechanism of Ukraine to draw more global attention to Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014.

Erdogan said Ankara will continue to support the Crimean Platform that was established to resolve the Crimean issue through peaceful means.

"Türkiye does not recognize the annexation of Crimea and has been openly stating since the first day that this step is illegitimate and illegal. This is a principled stance that has not only legal but also moral foundations," he said.

The president added that protecting Ukraine's territorial integrity, sovereignty and political unity is "critical" not only for regional but also for global security and stability.

I suppose he is oblivious to the next question that is going to be asked to him regarding Northern Cyprus.

And you will be oblivious to the next question that follows that one and be glad that he is oblivious to it.

A top secret report has just been published by some Turkish speaking rag.

The CM comments, Yeni Duzen reported that while the Turkish Cypriots who relocated to the north after the invasion left behind 500,000 acres of property in the south, “there was 1.5 million acres of property waiting for them” in the north after Greek Cypriots fled the advancing Turkish troops in July and August 1974. “The land and property acquired in the north of Cyprus was very large in relation to the Turkish Cypriot population,” Yeni Duzen said. This left a major labour shortfall.

So basically, Turkey stole 3 times as much land as what the TC's left behind in the south.

Obvisouly, you dont need a top secret report to know that.

This is where you attention lets you down. While GC escaped mostly before the Army came along, the TCs were rounded up by your glorious NG and put in concentration camps in Limasol and Larnaka. Those that they did not slaughter of course unlike in Dohni, Murataga, Sandallilar and Atlilar civilians.

In any case, even in them days, the value of land left in the south was more than the land gained in the north even with the number donums involved. But I guess it goes through one ear and comes out of the other through the vacuum. ding ding. Move along the line please.
