For a normal country it is wrong. Unfortunately in Cyprus they didn't let us have, and they insist on not letting us have a normal country.
It's very easy to blame others, isn't it? I'm not denying the outside influence on Cyprus. But this has nothing to do with the flag issue. Did British tell you to play the Greek national anthem along with the Cyprus flag? Your community chose to do so. Your community claims to own the Republic of Cyprus and your community, without asking the TCs, chose to play the Greek national anthem with the Cypriot flag. And again, it's in your community's power to change that tomorrow, if there was ever a will of making Republic of Cyprus truly bicommunal republic as it was supposed to be.
Other wrongs of the 1960 constitution were the super privileges that were given to TCs and the British military bases to name a few.
Now I don't know what the "super privileges" of TCs or the British bases have anything to do with the Greek national anthem being played with the Cyprus flag. So you're trying to say that this is a reaction to those "wrong" actions?
I would be more than glad to remove all anomalies and finally have a normal country in Cyprus. Unfortunately, it seems that they are now trying to create something even more abnormal than what the 1960 agreements were.
Again, this has nothing to do with the subject. Your side claims to represent the whole island under the name of Republic of Cyprus. Your side claims to be the government of TCs and your side got into EU representing the whole island. Now, you can't claim that you're the bicommunal Republic of Cyprus that was formed by 1959-60 agreements with "super-privileges" to TCs, and then go and play the Greek anthem with the neutral flag of Cyprus. Moreover, you can't expect TCs to feel citizens of bicommunal Republic of Cyprus with Greek national anthem playing with it.
