...it would be easiest to rank a choice to three (without a campaign); then vote.

I agree with Paphitis, it is a serious choice. As a mission, we may grow in ways that demonstrate an ethnos to our readers ('looking' at 'us') that we are all committed at least to Basic Human Rights; not just "Greeks and/or "Turks", but a wide array of Cypriot thinking. Me too, i worry about the absolute hostility people may have for any idea different to theirs (sometimes); if it remains on topic it may be most useful to our readers in their own reasoning, if, i suggest, it becomes personal it better be funny, entertaining that is to say, again for the readers. (i would like to know that as authors, with new members, this Forum will provide us a greater challenge, for Cyprus (let's not forget), (for the Admin.), and for us.)

...while this poll has a deadline, i imagine that Admin. will do more than consider it as their only and final choice; i (personally) appreciate the effort GR, though i do not consider this poll valid: i can not vote as such.

...i really would like to know who has accepted their nomination (e.g.), at least, (and why they want this job) before we vote.

Respectfully, i made (read: make) myself clear.

...you can put any interpretation you want on it, it's not credible; given that, for the most part, you admit you cannot follow what i'm saying. (...given that i might be the first to be banned.)

I respect your ambitions as real; how, much, this means to you. And being a serious person (with a long memory) i wonder why: that is not a good thing in your case, it's all i have to say.

5) Kikapu - however, I have concerns on his political views as well. Hence I'm on the fence.

(yes I have expanded my nominations list to 4.5. Kiks being the 0.5.

:D :D :D

I have been reduced to being “half a man” in this nomination process!

Perhaps I was a Greek Kentauros in my previous life?

I don’t understand why political views of anyone has to do in the nomination process?

I am reduced to being half a man because I think Trump is a cunt? :D

Anyway, back to the topic.

I believe the top two vote getters should become moderators for CF.

That would make it GR and Paphitis at this point in time.

We should also have a system where a moderator can be voted “out of office” should they abuse the “powers” given to them by CF members.

I am sure moderator role has no fixed timescale, if complaints are made to Admin regarding one's behaviour, he would take action and if not it will kill the forum anyway.

But it must be made clear to the moderator that personal opinion does not come into it. If a post is pack of lies and it is shown to be so, at least it should be removed.

One thing has to stop is personal attacks on people or their families. If a person has proven evidence of any kind on anybody, they need to take it to a police station. This forum is not the place for it even if there is evidence.

I say ol chap, leave your eyes alone, you never know when you may need them.

A rule for moderators is that action should be taken in agreement between them each one cannot do as they wish. A bit like company directors where two signatures are need for a cheque to be payable. Why break a system that is working.

I agree with this

Although there is an aspect which is being ignored. There should be a TC representation there too if we are to emulate the RoC constitution. I agree that it has not worked in real life but that is because establishment had no intention to allow it to work. I have been on several sites as Admin and there has always been representation from both sides. It is time to show those big boys how it should be done. We can make this forum to what it should be.
