I always thought the whole point of winning was to crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!

If anything, those who support the invasion are holding the extreme position, and are unjust. But then again, when someone spouts such hatred for the west, then that's just off the charts bordering the insane...
And with such polarisation, and hatred, then one can only presume that the hatred and intollerance will go against anyone who takes the pro western stance, such as myself.
Whereas, openly campaigning for the genocide of a prominent nation of 146 million people, is OK by your “moral” standards, eh!
Maybe you should just logoff for the day Paphitis... come back when you're sober!
Nope wrong again...Russia made its own bed and is rightfully sanctioned.
We stop short from threatening them with invasion or nuclear annihilation. Incinerating 146 million people in Russia is completely not on, and its not wanted by the west. That would be a very dark day for planet earth if it happened.
The prefered option would be to have better relations with Russia. To trade with them, and move forward with them. To welcome them to the western fold, and why not even welcome them in NATO. But that is impossible, in the current state of affairs. they have invaded another prominent nation of 46 million people. They are committing genocide in this country. They, will be judged on their actions, and punished accordingly.
IUt's not too late for them though. I told you, they will be judged by their actions. They can start doing the right thing and things will dramatically improve for them. Doing the right thing would be welcomed.
Whitewashing the arch-criminal West does you no favors O' moral one!

I for the time being ABSTAIN from the vote. I'm going to sit back and see how this pans out...
And so begins the drama!
Just go tell us how much you hate the west, and wish for Pootin to destroy us with Nuclear Annihilation - the EU, US, Japan, Canada, Australia and so forth turned to glass.
Is this your platform, Mr Einstein?
And then you attempt this sham of a democratic popularity contest? Do you see the irony?
Blimey Paphites its a poll for a forum mod, not a presidential election race.
All we need is someone to accept new members and keep the pork luncheon meat away (no offence intended Lordo)
I cast the first vote for GR not because i agree with his political views but becsuse i think he is the least likely of all these fine candidates to ban someone for opposing views. Plus as mentioned on the other thread he has the time to take on the role.
I would have liked 2 votes so we can appoint 2 mods my second choice would have been Lordo (one from each side of the divide so to speak
Chill pal its only a forum
Love and peace

There are very serious issues to consider here, as follows:
1) censorship - freeddom to express views and view[points without hinder. This is what we in the west grow up with and expect.
2) liberatarianism - allow people to live their lives in accordance with their wishes, to freely express their religiosity, or lack of, sexuality, culture, and so on.
3) just let everyone be and to not bring disrepute to the nation of Cyprus - which sometimes some members actually do when they express hatred and out there hair brain idears like turning the west to glass.
It's a pretty serious step voting for moderators on this forum.
Yes it would be advantageous as new members will be able to join. I welcome that. But this can never be at the expense of our freedom to express views, express liberal and democratic values and display such gross intolerance. Give the keys to the wrong people, then mebers like myself become compromised in this asylum.
I don't support this vote. I support the Admin appointing a third neutral party as mod, or I hereby nominate the following individuals:
!) Londonrake
2) Maximus
3) DT
4) RichardB
5) Kikapu - however, I have concerns on his political views as well. Hence I'm on the fence.
(yes I have expanded my nominations list to 4.5. Kiks being the 0.5
Anyone else WILL result in my departure from this forum.
