So stop dictating the rules, your rules are invalid.

No, it's not.

There's been a continual trend in this thread by people (you know who your are  ) to divert attention away from the central issue - the unprovoked invasion by Russia of a neighbouring country - towards totally unrelated events in other countries at other times. That, accompanied by the introduction of what's little more than conspiracy theories about similar. It's all presented in a manner which suggest that Russia's actions are acceptable because A did B to C back in D. It's bullshit. Russia has sent 190,000 troops into a neighbouring country where it's been slaughtering the population and destroying it's cities for the past 3 weeks. There is nothing which justifies that and to attempt to do so by any BS examples is despicable.

Listen mate. You should contact GR and find out how to block me. Because, apparently, this sort of post on my part is just some sort of annoying thread diversionary thing.

Does anyone here feel this planet has an international court or tribunal that has the moral right to point the finger at Russia considering that they had all turned a blind eye to countless American atrocities spanning decades?

Which one is that? :?

But that’s the whole point... we no longer have a measure or a gauge, by which we can determine what is right!

We USED to have a guide (the UN Charter) but we shat all over it!

"The United Nations General Assembly has voted to demand that Russia stop its offensive and immediately withdraw all troops."

Vote:

141 in favour of the motion

4 against (Belarus, Syria, North Korea and Eritrea).

35 abstentions.

GR Bullshit.

The thread isn't about American atrocities. It's about 3.2 million Ukrainians being forced to flee their country because Russia's invaded it.

War is war Max. No war is about throwing flowers. It's about throwing bombs and killing people including your own soldiers. Of course it is bad.
Russia was pushed in this war. If you think Russia's invasion was wrong, then you should tell us what should be the right thing to do.
I am all ears!

Allow Ukraine to decide.

I know, whats good for Ukraine is bad for Russia but you should consider what happened in Cyprus.

The majority of Cypriots couldnt exercise their democratic right and look what happened.

To decide what??
To violate the Minsk agreements, by doing ethnic cleansing in Donbas,?
To violate the treaty on friendship cooperation and partnership she signed with the Russians in 1992?
which clearly states that she cannot allow its territory to be used to the detriment of the security of Russia? Ukraine changed it's constitution to become a Nato member FCS despite Russia's repetitive warnings. Ukraine wasn't even deciding by herself, all negotiations were done on her behalf by Stoltenberg.

Nevertheless if you think Ukraine had every right to decide whatever she wanted, then why shouldn't Russia have the right to take action for her own security?

Ever been involved in one? No, didn't think so. Nobody wants peace more than the soldier. He bears the death, pain and scars. People nowadays who sit comfortably in front of their keyboards and pass judgment on acts going on which are resulting in death and destruction really need to take up gardening or something.

No, Russia wasn't "pushed". It isn't Russia anyway (and that's starting to come out), it's the man who's been a ruthless dictator of that country for 22 years. It's Putin's war. If you've read his "essay" you will know that he dreams of a return to the days when Ukraine (and Lithuania actually) were part of Russia. Then of course there are the other Baltic states and............................

It's a tired old metaphor. Even, you could say a cliché. Careful what you wish for.

Yeah that's an essay alright. Moaning about the destruction of wars is usually the job of women.
If that's all that matters to you, then you are getting boring.
Furthermore I 've heard all the relevant nonsense about this one man's war, but I am not in the mood of arguing with every parrot on earth.
