Welcome to the new Orwellian norm people.

I predict a new Turkish invasion of Cyprus as a given. It's now just a question of when.

If that’s the case, then goodbye to Taiwan and the whole of South China seas. Sorry Australia but that is the New World Order to these areas now so stay out of them, no? Then where else, South Korea perhaps by the North?

One size does not fit all because of what is happening in Ukraine. :wink:

It's the new world norm now Kikapu. Countries will get invaded, and no one will give a dam.

Taiwan however, has more reason that Vyprus to feel more upbeat, but an invasion of Taiwan will not be an invasion the US and NATO will ignore, like they do to Ukraine and will do for a second time in Cyprus.

There is no Cypriot culture left on this island thanks to our EU membership that has gradually crushed everything we lived for and stood for.

If you look at the daily news of Cyprus these days you might as well be reading the daily news of Amsterdam or Paris, because it goes like this…

* Drugs
* Pedophilia
* Thefts and burglaries
* DUIs
* Illegal immigrants
* Gay/lesbian rights
* Tree hugging and plastic bottle collecting

And this is not the Cyprus we knew!

What we now have we do not recognize… and I for one care not for what we now have.

Cyprus is forever enshrined in my memories for what it was... and I’m happy to have experienced it, while it lasted.

So long Cyprus... I miss you heaps but I realize you’re never coming back again. :)

Oh and btw...

Would I take up a gun to fight the Turks over what has now become an EU shithole?

No thank you… it’s all yours Turkey!

Enjoy the shithole! :lol:

Errr....that's very sad for you to say these things Get Real. Cyprus is beautiful and is nothing like the things you mention. And even wiith the crime, drugs etc etc, Russia and China will only deliver the same, and the seedy network of mass and overt corruption, loss of freedoms, loss of human rights, and just a nasty society overall.

For Cyprus and the US may have a drug problem, but the drug traders are the mafioso organisations of Latin America, the Chinese Triads, The Russian Mafia and so on and so on.

Already an EU member state, Turkey would be in a shitload of problems when Greece/Cyprus invokes NATO’s Article 5, especially after Turkey not going along with NATO and the EU to close it’s airspace to Russia or join the sanctions.

I don’t think one NATO member can invoke A5 against another. That would seem a bit ridiculous. :?

But I agree Turkey wouldn’t likely want to attack this side. They’d have, at the very least, a perpetual state of insurrection on their hands. Not to mention joining Russia as an international pariah.

I doubt Cypriots have what it takes to mount a Ukrainian style insurrection.

As soon as the bombs start falling, they would be swimming to Greece.

I've literally lost faith in the current generations of Greeks and Cypriots to do anything. They typify the "me, myself and I" generation these days. It's all about materialism, money, greed and self interest. Previous generations were different. It was a different breed of Cypriot in WW2 than the current ones of today.

You never even served the National Guard, so you’ll be lucky to hold your jocks in place should the Turks come down for a second round.

Ate bienne na pessis...

I have a brain, something that you don't have. :lol: But you have a ....BIG house. Plonker :lol:

And where exactly did you get the brain from Miltiades… did you buy it at Tescos?

For starters I don't subscribe to the mythological scatology that you do. Secondly I consider HUMANITY as the only true religion.
Thirdly, I have compassion that you do not.
And lastly Im down to earth, not pretentious and extremely good ...looking, where as you are an ugly bastard :lol:

That’s where I draw the line! I’ve witnessed GR gain extra attention from a few Sheila’s! The boy is a little misdirected and confused but his looks haven’t left him yet 8)
