I gather the order to cleans the TCs from the villages was given months before Turkey even landed in Cyprus.

So this idea that TCs were only killed after Turkey landed is a bit of a myht then? right? repeated constantly here and elsewhere.

You would think with internet people would be better informed unless they knew all along and just could not speak the truth.

which is it?

These are military orders with a code name. There's at least one per day in all armies.
It orders units 1,2,3 to study and propose how to morally prepare the surroundινγ villages for their defense and how to make them participate in the clearing of a certain TC military "pocket". (θυλακας).

I don't know for which "thylakas" they are talking about, however I am sure I heard this term been used for Kokkina (Eren Koys).

You can clearly see this is about 1974 and it is a few months before the coup.

That should be spelt “Iphestos” or “Ifestos”.

It basically talks about cutting off water, power and telephony of some unnamed enclave.

Interestingly there are similarities with today’s Ukraine… they too are scrambling to prevent any further breakaway states from forming.

The RoC was doing exactly what any other country would’ve done in the face of breakaway enclaves sponsored by an outside enemy power.

But anyway, what’s the purpose of analyzing all this shit today?

The question is were the orders to kill the civilains before or after the Turks landed. Purely informational purposes. I have never blamed the GCs fopr all that happened and am perfectly aware that a few thousand fascists on each side have brought Cyprus to this point. And add insult to injury they are running around like they were heros.

I think you know too well that both communities were conducting random attacks on each other predominantly during the 50s, 60s and early 70s, but I have no idea who was “winning” from these prior to the Greek coup.

Basically it was punks from each side trying to terrorize each other… no territory was gained or lost and I’d say they were of no strategic value.

Yes like I said that's their job. One order for one plan every day. The date is irrelevant. That's how the militants pass their time, didn't you know that?
Now if you want to fantasize a horror movie out of that, do as you please.
