Hi
A colleague has advised that Cyprus airports are asking to see proof of a negative Covid test before letting passengers board their plane departing from the island. He claimed that it seemed to be a random search, as the authorities asked to see his son’s test result, but not his own.
My wife is flying back to the UK this Saturday (19th). I was of the understanding that the only requirement for negative test results depended on whatever restrictions were in force in the destination country – not on the part of the Cypriot authorities.
I have searched the net for any such requirement by the Cypriot authorities, but have been unable to find anything. Is there anyone who can confirm the correct current situation, and provide me with usual links which will confirm this?
Many thanks in advance.
