The American troops in this operation no doubt wore body cams to record every move, just as they did when they went to kill Bin Laden. The ISIS leader killed in this operation had much less value than Bin Laden, so I would think same method was used to kill him as they did Bin Laden without killing others in the house systematically. I’m sure some body cam footage will be released by the US if no intent to blow everyone up in the house just to get one man.

While Trump was at the helm you were suspicious, objective, detail oriented, alert to all flaws and very critical, but now that the Democrats have taken over your guard seems to have been turned off and you seemingly assume you’re in good credible hands!

Not at all GR. This has nothing to do with who is the president of the US now.

If the Americans blew the place up and people indiscriminately, no body cam footage will be released of what has happened, unless it is a “Hollywood” version, then we can assume the Americans killed indiscriminately. It is a 50%-50% that you may be right or wrong. I haven’t taken a position at all. I have just stated the possibilities what may have happened, that’s all.

So they manufactured a fairytale that went… “We tried to get the number one ISIS leader and that coward blew his entire family up!” …that’s a lot more palatable eh?

In the media they used every dirty trick in the book to dehumanize this family with statements like… “a multi-story compound” instead of “a two-story house”, and that the guy (the target) “was in hiding” instead of “was at his house with his family”, and so forth.

But how can one be “in hiding” when you’re at your own house probably watching TV with your family late in the evening?

Furthermore, they also had the audacity to describe the operation as “daring” having sent an armed drone closely followed by an Apache with special forces against a completely unaware family home, and even talked of the special force’s “bravery” having completed the mission unscathed!

I guess we’ll never know how many sling shots they dodged from those murderous jihadi kids!

And I’ll bet a month from now those involved in the slaughter will be lining up at the WH to receive medals for this grand “bravery”!

You know, I don’t care how nasty this character may have been in his life, but when you catch him via a drone at his home unaware and in the midst of a dozen kids, I don’t think you should be patting yourself on the back or expect any medals for it!

If anything, it is Biden’s evil nature and cowardice that was exposed in this debacle!

Btw, having read this story from multiple sources; not just British or American, I discovered that this character was nicknamed “the canary” due to his frequent tip-offs… apparently he was some kind of a double agent that any anti-ISIS camp would’ve loved!

The Americans will have body cam footage - which they could release if they wanted to.

No one can say for sure, but it's unlikely the Americans would have been indiscriminant in their killing. The Western/American culture abors violence against women and children generally speaking. It wouldn't be tolerated.

It is a lot more truer to form, that this ISIL bozo killed hs wives (plural) and dozen children. They never seemed to respect life, or their women who were more or less slaves.

And when they stormed the Osama Bin Laden compound in Pakistan some years ago, the Seal Team also encountered women and children and did not kill them. they just killed Osama, another man (from memory) and then wanted to get the hell out even though one of their helicopters actually crashed and they had to destroy it completely.

America just dropped Australia in it when they released information about SAS Bravo company who captured 7 taliban flighters in 2012 and requested extraction. It was an American Blackhawk that answered the request and was coming to extract but the American Loadmaster said they can only take 6. So a gunshot was heard and the Aussies said, we now have 6 - come and pick them up. 1 Taliban was executed.

So, they are not as evil as you think they are.
