Putin is no doubt public enemy number one in many peoples opinion but zelensky is making a lot of mistakes.

The US want to flood Ukraine with weapons to fight Russia because they are on the decline and they are trying to preserve their global hegemony. They don't want to get involved directly though.

This is another one of their proxy wars and the Ukrainians are deluding themselves that they are fighting for their freedom. Russia doesn't want to be there but because they are, Ukrainians are forced to defend themselves.

There is actually a distinct good vs bad here. The evil badness is the invader of a sovereign country. The innocent victims are the Ukraine people.

It’s actually been a dismal failure so far in regards to their operations. They have thousands of tanks bogged down and stuck, unable to move or go anywhere.

Thousands of their troops have already surrendered and laid down their weapons.

They have massive casualties.

As soon as they enter any Ukrainian city they come under a barrage of fire from the defenders.

It’s not looking good for Russia.

But yes what you say is true. When a country falls under occupation and the population have a resolve to fight, then there is no defeat. Just eventual defeat of the invader who will be forced to withdraw in the longer run.

This is the undoing of many invaders. History holds stern lessons, and it doesn’t matter if the invader is a “superpower” or not. Superpowers don’t send in their armies without the proper logistics. Wars are won on logistics and supply lines. Without logistics you are screwed.

the west is doing the right thing and fighting Russia economically.

As for the property "theft". There are laws in the west which stipulate that the proceeds of crime can be confiscated by the state. Most of these Oligarchs are Russian mafia and political scoundrels and criminals much like Pootin with his 200 billion personal fortune. These proceeds were plundered from the Russian people during the Soviet collapse whilst others made their fortunes from the seedy Russian Mafia undeworld.

It's only fitting they all be dispossessed!

As an American, I am surprised how gullible everyone is walking around. Just like little children.

Everyone I talk to says Putin is a murderer and a killer, a true monster, but none of them can give you any examples to back it up. CNN says so every 30 seconds obviously.

We murdered thousands of people for 20 years in Iraq and Afghanistan, murdered people in Syria, murdered Ghadaffi and destroyed Libya, causing the civil war there that lasted years (Hillary thought it hilarious), and of course, Bill Clinton bombed and murdered 100,000 Orthodox Christian Serbs.

None of these people or countries threatened us as the Ukraine and NATO have threatened Russia since 2014.

But Putin a a monster and a murder and a killer. Don't you ever forget it!

The world is begining to realise finally that the UN is not functioning. Welcome to our world.

On another note we were sold the idea of Nuclear weapons claiming it would stop wars. Well it seems rather than stop wars, it seems to paralyse those who have them from confronting another nuclear power even when they are invading another country.

This took place for the last 40 odd years with one side or the other attacking a country without any fear of any kind. It was 99.999% America doing the attacking and murdering millions but who is counting.
