Just today, the Russians did enter the port city and were repelled. They had to withdraw.
What else =di they come for?
And you speak about my cognitive bias. What about yours? What about your cognitive bias and support of an illegal invasion into the sovereign State of Ukraine. I mean how hypocritical can you get?
From the very beginning, before the war even started I am the first one who said the Ukraine boarding Russia by 1200+ Km cannot bring Nato to it's doorstep because this is a huge country and the result would be to encircle Russia. The whole world was watching the Russians for months patiently trying to get a logical agreement both with Nato and Ukraine, however they were all mocking them and actually the Anglo Saxons were provoking them to do this war, even setting the dates! Therefore I always believed Russia's reaction was absolutely justified. Now if you think this reaction could be anything other than an invasion then you are naive.
Russia is a superpower and had enough from the US who would have (and already has) done much worse in multiple occasions. These are the realities in which we live.
I didn't say you have cognitive bias which to a small degree everyone has. I said you had EXTREME cognitive bias which is psychotic.Who is the only one in this forum who never sees the other side of the story, while he supports everything the Anglo Saxons do under the coverage of Nato as if they are Angels blessed by God? Who is the only who constantly imagines victories and parades for what he calls "us"?
In case you didn’t know, Ukraine is not a NATO member. It applied and was vetoed by NATO in joining. So to be precise, as it stood, NATO did not want Ukraine as a member, at least for now. Why did NATO not want them? Probably because they did not want to antagonise the Russians.
So the objective of NATO is not to encircle Russia, or to start a WW3 and attack Russia.
The clear objective of NATO is defence from the kind of action Ukraine is subjected to.
Secondly, Ukraine can not be denied it’s sovereign right to forge ahead with alliances of its choice and to join the EU.
If for instance it still wants to join NATO then no one could actually blame them for that desire. There is clearly a need for their own security to join NATO. Whether NATO lets them join is of course another matter.
Which brings me back to Cyprus. I think it’s time for Cyprus to follow in Ukraine’s footsteps. You are behaving like a NATO country anyway and an EU country and have placed sanctions on Russia. And so you should. So Pootin does not like you to say the least.
