Why do you think they are encircling Kiev?

There's lots more similar in the days/weeks after of course. And yet, here we are. With a mass mobilisation of Russians. Funny ole fing.

Russia has practically immobilized the Ukrainian forces and will probably encircle Kiev soon.

Putin is ready to negotiate the terms of surrender with Zelensky to end Russia's military operations.

It basically, involves Ukraine reverting back to guarantees of neutrality and demilitarization.

Russia repeatedly stated over the years that it wanted a neutral Ukraine; not in NATO, which is a reasonable condition just as the US wouldn't want Mexico to facilitate a Russian base on its soil.

Had the West listened, none of this would be necessary, so what is happening today is no invasion but a forced demilitarization.

Russia has just given a potent demonstration of their ability to defend that neutrality and the Ukrainians should take head although having gone through all this trouble now Russia will want more… probably neutrality + regime change.

Will Yanukovych come out of exile to take over? We shall see...

Russia can take its sanctions kind a cucumber now.

Their entire economy will be dust.

Not that Pootin cares but right now, no Russian business is able to trade or do business in North America, EU or Australia. Even assets owned by their elites are being seized.

Putin is too smart for the West’s buffoons…

LR, do you have the time to dig up all these wonderful gems? We need to revisit them just for laughs.

Putin sacks Deputy defence minister Dmitry Bulgakov tonight. Yet another General. How many is that?

A problem a lot of dictators have is they end up surrounded by people - so fearful for their own careers (it used to be lives) - they eventually acquire "advisers" telling them what they think they want to hear.

In a speech once, after the death of Stalin, Khrushchev was denouncing him and the atrocities he was responsible for. A voice from within the large audience shouted "Well, why didn't you tell him when he was alive?!!" Khrushchev replied "Who said that???". Silence. After a pause he said "See. You never knew whether you were going to be the next person shot".

This gem dated Feb. 27th isn't bad either

Not to mention all the malicious pleasure over killed Ukrainians, regardless if it's children, women or soldiers. Next the childish pleasure when commenting on the possible total destruction of Kiev (which supposedly belongs to Russia. Oh, the irony).

I'm ok with releasing travel plans and I am ok with meeting certain people from this forum. You on the other hand, I have no interest in. You are not the only one. And I'm not saying that to be offensive. It's just priorities and time, mostly. Plus I don't like you much. You don't exactly come across as a likable guy.

And, I don't really mind if no one wants to meet me. I have a lot of things I need to cram in to by 9 days. Time is not on my side.

My aim is to travel and see the world, and spend valuable time with my kids in other countries with different cultures. My children will be travellking to Turkey for the first time in their lives and that IS a part of my trip I am greatly looking forward to, as well as taking them to Crete, Paros, Naxos, Samos for the first time. They have been to other places in Greece. And they have been UAE which is a bit of a family tradition now.

You mean you stopped sending PMs for some reason. You even sent some to me... However the forum rules require everyone to stick to the topic. Your personal trips and meetings actually litter the place, especially when they come out of the blues.
Anyway you are not the only one who litters every topic, so you can be excused.

Actually I did join a forum meeting once. The majority of the people were different from what they looked like in the forum. Even LR said he met RH and he was different in real life. The ones who at the forum looked simplistic, turned out to be simplistic is real life too. Boring to hell...
After that I concluded that meeting people I met on the Internet is unnatural and meaningless.
It also spoils my liberty to say anything I want under conditions of anonymity which is a big plus.

In any case if I was somehow forced to meet you, I would be counting the seconds to depart.

You mean like they’ve been telling Biden, Johnson and Ursula the boofhead, that the Ukraine has been winning for the past 7 months?

Fellas, flick that little switch to enable the brain before you post!
