Despite the failures in the attack on Kherson, the Ukrainian command continues the onslaught in order to break through the Russian defenses.

For the first time in the past few days, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a major attack on a site near the village of Pravdino south of Posad-Pokrovsky. An armored group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of three tanks and six infantry fighting vehicles took part in the offensive.

During the battle, Russian paratroopers destroyed 4 infantry fighting vehicles and all 3 enemy tanks. Ukrainian formations were forced to retreat to their original positions under artillery and army aviation attacks. The UAF attack failed.

In retaliation for the failures in the south, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are purposefully striking civilian infrastructure. In the morning, several rockets flew at the building of the regional administration in Kherson: an employee and two bystanders were killed, 13 people were injured.

In the near future, the Ukrainian command will try to use its numerical superiority and continue attacks on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, as well as shelling of civilian objects and residential buildings in the Kherson region in order to demoralize the local population.
