...and the question becomes, who is Zelenskyy fighting for; has he become a "Ukrainian" now that he is fighting "Russians" so fiercely?
I hope not. He knows the problem just as Mr. Erdogan and Mr. Putin do; the issue as yet is power and not the problems that are leading Ukraine to becoming (another) Problem like Cyprus where the population is usurped of their Basic Human Rights: by dismissing their identity as Individuals, and by defining them as Persons specifically toward dividing them into hateful parts.
...they, the Russians, the Ukrainians and the Turks, like Cypriots, should all use a BBF as a political system in their own Constitutional reform, (all of them represent a culture of diverse ethnicities.) Where, as a State, the Individual as a Citizen will have the Freedom to represent themselves under such a set of Laws as equals responsible toward each other as such and to the Universal Principles they represent without further distinctions or discrimination. While, at another level of Government, in Freedom, Citizens representing themselves as Constituencies and as Persons, as Majorities may demonstrate their respect for such Liberty by providing for in Goodfaith and by recognising in Goodwill the minorities living among them and their special needs, in their own Agendas.
...ending the Problem is the problem.
Ask yourselves who "wins" if the Ukraine, like Cyprus is divided so that like Cypriots they have been divided to live silenced among the "Greeks" and "Turks" that live around them.
There are Russians fighting "Russians" in Ukraine, too little is said about such heroism; like these Belarusians scorned, it paints a very troubling picture for me.
