Oh boy! This is going to be interesting... :D

A-10's are going to be sitting ducks for the Russians.

A-10's are best at close to the ground in open spaces taking out tanks and personal carriers. Useless in wooded areas.

A-10's are great against an enemy without ground to air defenses.

I read Ukraine will get 10 A-10's. I think 10 coffins comes with them!

Yes, A-10 require some air support and are best suited in non contested airspace.

But, Russia does not have Air Superiority, so its not as if the A-10s will be sitting ducks as they would be below radar most of the time, and when they are picked up on the line of contact, it will usually be too late for Russian Armour.

You also got to remember that Ukraine are using Su-25 which is the Russian Equivalent, and the A-10s are even better than the SU-25. So, A-10s will do ok and are probably ideal for Ukraine, with either F-16 or F-18. Ukraine will be able to cause many problems for the Russians.

The A-10s would do just fine. And the cockpit is an armoured cocoon as well, to protect the pilot from small munitions fire. And, A-10s are a proven platform in an Air Defence saturated airspace. Don't forget, the Ukrainians will be given F-16s and/or F-18s, who will be scouting for radar signatures and the idea is that the Russians will engage their s300s and s400s so that the Covering Air Support can release their HARM stand off missiles from 100 klms away.

S300 and S400 are no issue for US Supplied HARM and Himars.

You see, you must also think the big wigs in the Pentagon are dumb and stupid. Most of them are probably Harvard Educated, and they are good at their jobs and know EXACTLY what Ukraine needs to counteract the Russian menace.

I for 1 think the A-10 is brilliant and wish the RAAF had a few of them. But we don't. Probably because Australia doesn't foresee a land based invasion of Australia as a feasible conquest even for China and Russia.

Of course you would like to think so wouldn't you?

But they are not bogged down in Ukraine and at someone else's mercy.

The Americans can keep this war going for as long as they like, till either the Russian Military is grinded down back to the stone age, or their economy shuts down completely - whichever occurs first.

Right now, you don't even have enough shells and ammunition. 80% of your Ukrainian stockpiles have already been blown up to smithereens. :D

No, I did not actually think that at all.

What I do think though is, the US is sending equipment to Ukraine that are fast out of date or not a real threat to the Russians, but makes good public relations that they are helping Ukraine to win the fight against Russia. However, slowly but surely, the US (NATO) is going down the slippery slope in getting fully involved in Ukraine because now it cannot be seen losing the war there after throwing $60 Billion down the rat hole not to mention losing face. This is going to be Biden’s biggest fuck up by getting further involved in Ukraine. Most American never heard of Ukraine before and now they care despite rise inflation and the stock market going back 2 years value based. I don’t think so. I have also read US is about to send Military Advisors to Ukraine. Does it sound like Vietnam to you yet? No, then wait a little while longer and it will.

These are the actions and dangers which will have the potential to bring us to Nuclear destruction in Ukraine, as I see the fight being fought to death now regardless how long it will take, and no doubt LR will be reminding us the calendar daily with comment like “it has been 12 months now and the war, sorry the “Special operations” is still going on by the grand chess master Putin when it was only supposed to last 12 hours”.

Yes, LR was a “fly on the wall” in the war room when the invasion of Ukraine was being hatched by Russia! :D

You’re being fed trash by the West’s junk media because the Russian munitions inventory DWARFS that of America, so it’s actually the other way round!

Russia can continue fighting FOREVER and without depleting their stockpiles because their factories never stop producing!

It's yet another foolish miscalculation of the West...
