its called confirmation bias.

Thats why you are not posting things that are pro Ukraine.

Look, if you’re unable to post links to the contrary then I’m afraid your words alone are a waste of time.

I think my opinion is worth more than the words of others in most of the links you are posting.

if you dont care for our opinions, why are you posting for us?

These are crazy times indeed… :?

I’m the "bad guy" for always backing my posts with links, and they’re the "good guys" for just talking shit!

Yup, seems in line with the West's topsy turvy world!

Not at all. Actually, when you get away from link-itus I tend to enjoy your posts. Some of the more maniacal being absolute classics. You need perhaps to take into account that what you post is there and available to be re-presented at any time in the future. You own it, in perpetuity.

It's a fact though that you can support absolutely any view on any subject with internet links. Accordingly, the world of conspiracy theories has exploded exponentially since the early 90s.

A useful exercise used to be to go out and try to prove the opposite of your opinion. You might be surprised.

When I was posting “apocalyptic” type of personal opinion, I had Pyro asking me to stop scaring everyone and that narcissistic idiot forever insulting me.

If I make the link + story type of posts then you call me biased and not credible!

If I disappear from the forum altogether then it dies out with just Repulse talking to himself.

I realize it doesn’t matter how I post… some people here are overwhelmed by my presence and can’t cope.

Yes. It's clear why you are such a fan of Vlad. The likeness is striking. :D

I don't recall Pypro insulting you. :? In fact, I always thought he was in your corner - sort of thing. Didn't you invite him around for a coffee to sort out his IT problems? I'm not sure what persuaded him to drop out but suspect he will be back sooner or later. They always come back, eventually.

Do you not think you're biased? :? In all your hundreds (a thousand?) posts in this thread have you ever presented anything other than a good news story for Russia? Surely, you have to see that there are down sides for them? Overall, has this war been anything but bad news for all of us? Even if it's just down to us spoilt rich kids whinging about the price of petrol and a loaf.

No the insulting idiot is Milti not Pyro.

Anyways, here’s a “positive” link for the Ukie supporters...

I don't think they are aware of this very simple fact about how many people are actually reading the forum.
I "like" it when a person thinks their opinion is worth anything more than anybody else. Opinions are worth jack shit unless you can back it up with facts. Carry on GR, I have learnt so much about Ukraine on this forum and I have no doubt many other people did too.

Not at all,

You seem to have put links on a pedestal but what are these links other than other peoples opinions.

So you are just putting other peoples opinions over ours.

But where did these people get their opinions from, reading other people opinions in most cases.

So at best, you are posting an opinion of an opinion back up with your own opinion.

Which is, "you are talking shit" because you need links.

So here is a link, watch this. ----> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WGpcsYr-mOU

Lonely Lordo wanders in for a jab.

If he will excuse the impertinence. What Max is saying - quite rightly I think - is that discussion and debate is all about just that. Not endless lists of links. Which - sorry but - after the first few hundred or so, tend to be mind bendingly boring.

As I've suggested on another post. You can harvest "facts" to support just about any position from our wonderful internet. Is an opinion valid and well presented preferable, or, do you want a dozen unsupported by opinion (other than the odd piss taking comment of course) links?

Come on L. You're just doing your usual GR sycophant thingy. Although, just why, given your past animosity, is a puzzle to me. Perhaps it's down to simply getting a better argument that way. :?
